One of the hardest hurdles I have had to over come while breastfeeding was becoming dairy free. My youngest daughter has a dairy protein allergy, so not only did i have to cut out the obvious items i had to cut out anything that had traces of dairy in them. Hopeful she would outgrow this issue by the time she was 6 months old that wasn’t the case…

Once my daughter was able to start having soilds and needing to pack her snacks and lunches for daycare, I found myself having a hard time on the days I was to busy to make something homemade. Lets be honest we try to be great moms and make things healthy and homemade by that isn’t always the case in this fast paced world we live in! Below are my go to items for quick on the run options!
- Smuckers Uncrustables. These are a family favorite to have on the run. Keeping them in the freezer they are great thrown into a lunch box frozen in the morning and by lunch they are ready to eat. If you dont have time to thaw them i pop it in the microwave for 15 seconds. ( just make sure the jelly isn’t to hot before eating) My oldest loves to eat them frozen! The Nutella ones ARE NOT dairy free.
- Happy Tots Meals I have found that Target has the best options for the happy tots meals. Turkey bologness, squash ravioli, and Beef & Quinoa fiesta are my daughters faviotes. Happy tot has the best options for dairy free items. They have several pouches made with coconut milk and a lot of there Toddler line such as granola bars are dairy free.
- Plum Teensey Snacks The berry frit snacks are soo yummy. They also have peach but it isnt as loved with my girls. These are great to bring to restaurants because they take a while for my baby to eat because she has to concentrate to pick them up!
- Hannaford Brand French Toast Sticks The Hannaford brand French toast sticks are dairy free and so yummy! These are great for a quick on the go breakfast. 30 seconds in the microwave and voila a meal both kids will eat!
- Plum Jammy Sammys The Plum jammy sammys are a great quick snack. Along with the jammy sammys a lot of the Plum organic snack bars are dairy free. These are a life savor when im running late in the morning for breakfast! The Plum mighty morning breakfast bars the the rescue!
- A Dozen Cousins Seasoned Beans These microwaveable seasoned bean pouches are vegan and gluten free. They have different flavors to pick from, I usually order the 6 pack to have on hand. My daughters both love beans and they are a healthy choice!
- Pop Tarts! I have found that most poptarts are dairy free. My Daughter loves the raspberry ones and they are a great on the go breakfast!
These Dairy Free Snack Options are my top go tos when life gets crazy and I need something fast, becasue running into a store for a slice of pizza isnt an option when you have a little one who cant have it! Hopefuly these tips will help you simplify your life! If you have any other on the run ideas id love to hear them! And as always Bee Bold Bee Beautiful Bee BUBBLY!
